Dale Juner

Dale Juner has a profound love of country and roots music and with his latest release – Livin' While I Learn – he has delivered an album full of great musical surprises.

Juner continues his insatiable need to create and communicate through his song writing with stirring stories about the life he’s lived and the lessons he’s learned.”

Guests including Lez Karski, original UK member of “Supercharge” founding member of "Bondi Cigars", "Hippo’s" and "The Donkeys", Lez’s unique guitar style is highly respected and brings a new dimension to Juner’s songs...

Wayne Goodwin, who’s CV includes the likes of Slim Dusty, Sara Storer, Bella, Jenny Morris and many of the who’s who of the international music circle (including Emmylou Harris, Keith Urban, Crosby, Stills and Nash and Lacy J Dolton).

Backing vocals from Paul Greene from Hurst and Greene bring some great contemporary sounds to the rock influenced Soul Revival and New Holland Blue, a song that draws from Juner’s other love, farming...

And a first for Juner, a duet with new country artist "Mistin" breathes new life into the already award-winning song Only Burning Me.

Dale cut his teeth playing guitar in bar bands. The rockabillys and the country crowds loved him, so did the bikers and the rockers. But, more importantly, Dale was in demand from every venue in town.

Dale manages an Angus beef Stud at Gundaroo, just north of the Bush Capital and into NSW, his love of the land inspires him to write and sing about our country and the people in it with an honesty and insite that people can relate to.

Formerly from WA, Dale spent a few years in Victoria’s gloriouse Gippsland, dairy farming and during this period Dale recorded his first album Only Burning Me.

He was awarded the Victorian Country Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year 1998 and followed this up with the release of Bundy Haze which received an award for Best Independent Release 2000.

Following his move to NSW Dale received an endorsement by Tomkins Guitars and a record deal with ACMEC.

Dale has played some very interesting gigs and supports including West Australian engagements with international star Susie Quatro and the Nanning International Folk Festival in China with fellow Australian artists James Blundell and Lyn Bowtell where they played to crowds in the tens of thousands.

The first country act to perform at the Bindoon Rock festival, Dale has supported many Australian pop and rock acts including Johnny Diesel, Richard Clapton, James Reyne, Mental as Anything and Daryl Braithwaite.

It's a big ask warming up the crowd for pop stars, especially warming them up with country music, but Dale has in innate ability to entertain under the most extraordinary circumstances.
